Padus avium

Native to northern Europe and spans central latitudes of Asia. It is a tree that grows 2-10 m tall or a tall shrub with black-grey stems and branches. Leaves are 4-12 cm long and 2-6 cm wide. Flowers are white fragrant, gathered into long, drooping racemes 5-12 cm long. Fruits 5-7 mm in diameter black and edible.
