Symphoricarpos rivularis

Native to North America. It is a erect deciduous shrub and reaches 1-2 m height. Leaves are oppositely arranged on the spreading branches. Leaves are oval to 5 cm long. Flowers are small and pink in color. The fruit is a fleshy white berry-like drupe about a 1 cm wide which contains two seeds. Birds disperse the seeds. The fruit and shrub are poisonous to human.
