Sorbaria sorbifolia

Native to Siberia, norther China, Japan and Korea. A deciduous shrub reaching 1.5 m. The flowers, appearing in July or August, are white and showy clustered at the end of the branches. In good light the leaves may redden in the autumn before falling.
