Acer platanoides

Native to eastern and central Europe and western Asia. It is a deciduous tree, growing to 30 m and a broad rouded crown. The leaves are opposite, palmately lobed 7-14 cm long. The flowers are in corymbs of 15-30 together yellow-green, in early spring before the new leaves emerge. The autumn color of leaves is usually yellow, occasionally orange-red.
