Quercus robur
It is native to most of Europe and west of Caucasus. It is a long-lived tree with a large wide spreading crown; has lobed and nearly sessile leaves 7-14 cm long. The fruit, called acorns riped by mid autumn. The acorns are 2-2.5 cm long.
